The G10 is the third incarnation of Canon's flagship "prosumer" compact since the G series was reinvented with the G7 in 2006. The G10 builds on the successful formula of the G9 by adding handling and control refinements, improving the LCD† resolution, and, most importantly, adding a wider lens starting at 28mm (equiv.). It also retains the rangefinder styling, solid build quality and extensive external controls

The Canon Powershot G10 IS has 14,7 megapixels and is perfect for dental photography. The versatile 3 inch LCD† display coupled with the Image Stabilizer enables ease of use while working with patients. The camera can be held in a comfortable and ergonomic way thus allowing eye contact with the patient to determine optimal image selection.

In order to speed up the work-flow the camera can be set in a fixed zoom position which is automatically triggered when the camera has been activated. The optional grid display functions are very practical for aligning and taking photos of the front teeth. The focal point of the camera can be set to a fixed position thus enabling faster and exact focusing of a defined tooth

Mounts on lens, which normally take a 72 mm diameter filter

The doctorseyes system case allows the camera to be stored inside the case without the ring light system having to be dismounted. So when needed, you take the camera out of the case and you are ready to take images. Dental mirrors can also be stored inside the case to preserve their surface.
